Stellar news. I wish you well in your fresh start. Enjoy the rebirth of your financial freedom. Fingers crossed it stays that way as I am sure there were some icebergs to work around to teach you to be ready for them. I don't know about you, but I detest learning the hard way. Although here I am.

Great accomplishment and you're better for it now.

Audits are ordered and paid for by the US Trustee, and audits are performed by a third party. Also, they happen right at filing if they happen at all.
I don't know where you got this from but I just received a letter from my Trustee in Michigan which states "Dear Debtor, As of XX/XX/XX, a periodic audit has been completed on this case. The outlined checklist indicates items that could be obstacles to the discharge process. Your involvement and cooperation is needed to resolve these issues so the case can proceed to discharge without interruption. All they did was remind me to turn in my 2013 taxes return and refund. Maybe you have a different definition of the term audit, but the Trustee and my Attorney both used that term.

I have only recieved one audit form and it was in June of this year. It was from a 3rd party that asked a few questions confirming how much I had paid into the plan and how much the trustee paid out as of that date.

What did your letter state on the anniversary of your confirmation date. They didn't call it a "periodic audit"

I have never received anything on the anniversary of my confirmation date. Every six months I received a letter just from the trustee showing my payments but that was it. Curious on even in the same district things are different.

It sure is, I never received a payment letter at 6 months but I did receive a "periodic audit" letter after the first year. It also stated that my dividend to the unsecured 's will rise from the confirmed planned

I guess that the term "audit" is too general to refer only to the US Trustee audit, which is a separate proceeding entirely. I stand corrected.
