    Rebuilding credit

Being out of debt is a big relief and I don't plan on going down that road again. If one doesn't acquire any debt after BK13, how does ones credit score get any better?

I would think time will help score get better as well as debt to income ratio. But maybe just get a card and use it for grocery and pay it off monthly from grocery budget money?
Discharge date: October 2017 (will it ever get here?)

I just checked my score on creditkarma and it's gone up about 18 points from maybe a month or so ago. Just can't figure out how that works.

Andyman, have you checked your 3 credit reports recently to see if everything is reporting correctly?

Yes and they are all pretty much just blank other than the noted CH13. CreditKarma appears to only show Transunion.

You can't rely on credit karma, you need the full reports from annualcreditreport.com or the individual CRAs. All 3rd party reports don't have complete info.

It's kind of amazing that all 3 reports are blank, unless all the accounts you BK'd are waaay old.
