Is this for a mortgage? Some of the banks, as part of the huge settlement, were trying to correct paperwork submitted in bankruptcy cases. I believe that in those cases, there were miscalculations of amounts due and owing, or charges for things that they weren't allowed to add to the bill. Regardless, you are in a Chapter 13 and it appears they are updating their claim. You have done the right thing forwarding it to your attorney. The bank may have already filed the amended (claim) with the court.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
