15 Months and Counting......

I haven't been on here in a while. 15 months in and everything is going great It just seems like it is dragging by. Can't wait until we are done and can start the rest of our lives, just feel stuck. But, we are in a better place now than we were before we filed 13. Not complaining (after all, we did this to ourselves). No questions, just popping in, thought I would say "hi". Extremely thankful for the advice and support this site offers.

The worst is being in the credit "penalty box" for 7 years (5 years plan + 2 years to get an FHA mortgage post discharge).
It really sucks, not much to do about it.

FHA allows you to get a loan just 1 year into a Ch.13, not 2 years post discharge like in a Ch. 7. You need to show you have a good ch. 13 payment history for 1 year, plus permission from the trustee.
