Been in chapter 13 100 percent 60 month now for 31 months but having problems may be facing a firing next week. Mortgage and car are included called my attorney in which the secretary will forward my message unfortunately this is a holiday week and I probably won't hear from her until next week. What are my options? What happens now I am sure the end(job) is near and to make matters worse I'm on vacation this week.

Usually, a Chapter 13 debtor who faces a loss in income can do several things. First, the attorney will -- after the event actually occurs -- seek a forbearance period from the Trustee. This will reduce or eliminate payments, but secured debt should still be paid during this time (like cars and home). If you don't find work within a reasonable time (3 months), then the Attorney will work with you to either voluntarily dismiss the Chapter 13 or to convert to a Chapter 7.
You have time, so please allow your attorney and yourself to enjoy the holiday weekend.
(In the meantime, since you're sure your job will end... start working on your resume and start job prospecting.)Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
