This is a very good question and I don't have an answer. If you plan provided for the lease, then I suppose that means that the lease was technically assumed. As such, you would need to pay the lease fees and they would probably not be dischargeable. Hopefully your attorney could help you answer that question.
It would be nice if they filed a "priority" claim in the Chapter 13 so that it was paid. I am totally unfamiliar with any process or procedure for leases ending with a "balance due" while a Chapter 13 is still in progress.
