First off, five to go. Awesome! You deserve a ton of credit for getting this far along. Everything WILL work out. Believe me, anybody who is going through a Chapter 13 right now is rooting for you. Hang in there.

Congratulations on the bad wheel bearing! And I told someone else earlier congratulations for a huge heating bill (it helped offset their means test). I never in my life thought I would be giving Congrats for those sort of things, but now I am, because it is something to be thankful for.

And I am thankful for this thread. The last month and this one so far has been VERY bad for us, so I am needing reminders to be thankful for what we HAVE, not what we don't, and cannot do.

My sad story just to augment sunshine's good fortune. I do everything myself if possible. So, blown gearbox on belly mower of tractor mower. I NEED that mower so I purchased all bearings and rebuilt it. Worked well and ducky. Then I picked up in our barnyard a 50' one inch steel rope and wrapped it around the axle of the tractor wheel, and damaged the outer wheel bearing seal. $500 bucks. I don't know if I have the nerve to split the hydraulics transmission or not. Just can't win. LOL. 'Hub

You will be ok, Is your car slipping? If it won't go in reverse always park where you could pull out. Sometime a transmission tune up will get you through a couple month actually it prob will. If its leaking I believe they may be able to put a sealant. This may get you through for a couple months. My husbands transmission went about 6 months after doing all this, we bought a used transmission and the garage put it in was much cheaper 1000 dollars. If this happened right now though I would be on here ranting too, cause i would not have the money, however your soooo lucky your on your home stretch, It will be ok in the end!
