    Filing individualy...Household expense question.

I am married and filing by myself. My wife has good credit and all negative accounts and history is in my name.

I know when they figure your houshold income they include my wifes.

My question is: My wife has her own credit card accounts. They are in good standing and always have been. Will the payments we have to make on her credit cards be allowable deductions when figuring out our houshold expenses?

I am new here, but I would say 99% no, because they dont even factor in your own credit card payments on the means test

There's a point on the Means Test where your wife's income would be removed from the picture if you're filing single, not joint.

If none of your credit has become intertwined over the course of your marriage, then her Credit should be just fine even if you do file BK.
