Filed Today--Read All Your Paperwork

Today was the day that our Attorney filed all of our paper work. We are really happy to start these proceedings & anxious to get our paper work, I decided to make some lunch for the ladies in the office & pick up our papers. They were very happy with their lunch and we came home to read over everything. Getting to the end of papers my husband read the line, 2011 household income, $1,000,063.00 I told him to call the office since this was already sent out to the Trustee. When he called the Admin. Asst. apologized and laughed & said "oops that is a definite typo, I will amend this right away". My husband just said to her he was wondering if this is what he made last year where the rest of the money was. Everyone makes mistakes so just make sure you read all of the paperwork when you get it. sammie

A friend of mine once received an audit notice from the IRS stating that he had failed to pay the taxes on more than $300K worth of INTEREST on an account.

He politely told the IRS that he would be happy to pay the taxes and all penalties provided they hand over the rest of the account to him!

Unfortunately, it was the wrong SSN on the account.

What did they say way back when? Computers are here to make our lives easier. Sometimes they do but humans still have to put in the data.

Rj if we really did have that dmi we could afford to still be living in NJ near our kids. & not filed today.
