Conversion from 13 to 7 with a second mortgage strip

I do have a HELOC second mortgage on the property. I am under water by 70,000.

I did a 13 to strip the second. it has been now over two years into a 5 year plan.

If I convert to 7, what are the chances of the second mortgage being re instated?

I am somewhat the same boat as you, but so far my understanding is to convert to a 7 you would need to walk away from your home to get rid of the 2nd as well as first OR dissmiss and refile for a new 7. Im working with my attorney now to see what my options are.
