Singed Papers Today

It has started, we signed all the papers today & they are getting filed next week Aug. 1st. Our first payment is due Sept. 1st before we go to the 341 meeting 36 mo. payments. Boy am I nervous, but excited to get this stress off of my husband and I.

I am so glad I have all of you here to keep me sane & I truly thank you. sammie

That's a big step! The reduced stress will be totally worth it. When I walked out of our 341 meeting it was like a massive weight had been lifted and I was finally able to sleep at night. I didn't realize how much our finances consumed my thoughts and actions until well after we filed bankruptcy. Good luck!

JC we are in Pitt County. I know how you feel, I don't think I will get much sleep until the meeting is over. I know that I am making more of it then it is. Our Attorney said it will be over before we realize it, & not to volunteer anything, just to answer the questions with yes or no. Have you contacted an Attorney as yet?

Papie, PK Thank you, the fear of the unknown is what scares the h@#l out of me.

As I had said to my husband yesterday, we were so used to having a cc in case of an emergency and we have to reajust our thinking. We started last week by going to the Library instead of purchasing books for my Nook. Silly I know, but I figured start small & then work from there.

AC can you walk with me the day of the meeting & just hold my hand?

Yes we have an attorney its just getting all this mess together!!! we are in mecklenburg county and this is no fun!

JC First breathe deeply. Organization is the key. Are there a couple of things that are making you confused and we can help you with?

The other night a storm blew through here at 60 mi. an hr. winds. I had 2 programs opened up on the computer and shut it down quickly without closing the programs. When the storm passed, the Com. screen was black & I could not get back in (for 24 hrs.) the first thing I thought of was "great, where am I going to get $800 for a Laptop"? My husband finally fixed it, I had jammed the computer, but all these little things just compound the stress.

As others so graciously said to me, hang in there it gets better one day at a time. We are all here for you.sammie
