When does the Ch. 13 bk come off of your credit reports?

I can't believe I don't know the answer to this. Does it come off from the time you filed or from the time you are discharged? How many years from those events? Thanks.

From the time you filed.

I understand its 7 years for a ch. 13. For my dismissed ch. 13, filed on 12/09, my credit reports indicate it will come off 12/16.
