Lawyer not answering calls or emails

We are currently in a chapter 13. We turned in our tax return statements to the trustee. The trustee wants to up our payment. I contacted our lawyer and after a month he finally got back to me. I cannot afford tha amount the trustee wants. We re did our I and J and sent it in along with another $1000 for our attorney to work on it. I received notice 2 weeks ago that there will be court hearing on June 29th. The paper says Debtors Objection to Trustee's Motion to Modify Plan after Confirmation. I have contacted my lawyer's office by phone and email 6 seperate times to see if we are suppose to attend this hearing or if he will just attend. It is a 4 hour drive to the hearing. He still has not gotten back to me. Anybody else had this before? We will be officially done with 5 years in January 2013. I do not want to mess anything up now that it is getting so close.

Have you checked your case on PACER? It is possible that the Trustee withdrew his Motion to Modify. If so, there should be a document filed to that effect.
