I have a question. What does post petition default mean? Does this mean, items owed before I filed bankruptcy. I'm not clear on the meaning. I filed for chapter 13 January 24, 2012. I fell behind on my car note after this date.

You should be able to add the vehicle to the Chapter 13 bankruptcy plan. If you don't do something quickly they will repossess the vehicle. If they have already filed a motion for relief of stay something needs to be done quickly. I would have your bankruptcy attorney contact capital one and see what can be done. Good luckComment
