We received our Certificate of Completion and refund for overpayment to the trustee in today's mail. According to the letter from the trustee, we should receive our official discharge in 90 to 120 days! Not sure why it takes so long, but at this point I'm on top of the world!

Congrats! We will make our final payment on May 1st (and will continue to make more payments till we're told to stop). Just wondering how long it takes for our trustee to finalize the discharge? I called my attorney today to see if there is anything I need to do to get the discharge rolling and he said, "No." I asked typically how long does it take from the last payment to discharge and he said about 2 months. I hope sooo...I will let out that complete sign of relief when I have "discharge" papers in hand. But oh so close...CH13 filed 5/21/09; 341 6/17/09; confirmed 7/14/09]
