Modify 13 or convert to 7

In plan for 2 years now. New employment does not pay as much as other job. Mortgage still being paid outside plan. Will not be able to keep up trustee paymnets. Would like to modify but not sure income is enough to satisfy courts. Expenses have gone up due to the fact we have to pay for health insurance now which was free in last job. Would I be forced into a chpater 7 and would they come after a vehicle. I own 4 with the newest vehicle a 2004 pickup and all need service work done which ranges from several hundred to a few thousand dollars which I do not have. Not sure what do do. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

You sound like a very good candidate for a 7. Your newest is a 04? That will fly. Are all cars paid off? If so, probably not worth that much with amount of expenses to bring them up to par. If you cannot make Trustee payments, it would be better to file 7 than to be dismissed in the 13. Go for it. I'll tag along with you to aid you any way I can. A 7 is simpler, cheaper, and gets rid of the stuff that misses a real "new start". 'Hub
