ohhhh is it ever gonna end?

Hoping to file this week. Get a email with more stuff needed. Anyway they want Feb paystub too. Thought they go by months? If I file Thur. They asked about life ins only have what work gives me. Then they what recent bill statements honestly I have not paid those bills that i am filing for in about 4 years and they been sold over and over so I never saved them because heck they took up the whole mailbox and I was over whelmed. At the time hub lost his job a week after we bought our house then took him months to find another and if that wasn,t bad enough he slid in our driveway on ice and broke his leg, sooo another 6 months and we didn't have health ins and made too much for help.40 nthousand added, then of coarse he needed his gallbladder out had ins. Hope they don't think im a bad person. Cause when they look at my salary this should not have happened.
I have a feeling my payment is gonna be high. My hub sick of hearing about it, so glad he has to go with me to attorney. I am having a pity party sorry.

If you file this week, Feb will not be counted in means test. But your attorney may need to show stubs to trustee still.

Your attorney seems to be trying to dot all the i's and cross all the t's as the saying goes. Getting current addresses, etc. for creditors is a good way to make sure everyone is included & notified. I think its more important in a 13, because they need a chance to file a claim.

If you don't know what amount your plan is going to be set at, and you're filing on Thursday, perhaps you need a few minutes to sit down with your attorney and go over the income & expense schedules? The payment should be your monthly income less your monthly expenses. If you don't know where the attorney get the amount from, then maybe you should make sure he has the right income/expense #s before you file?

You should have some idea before filing what you payment would be. I found out what my attorney was going to propose and how likely it would get approved before I even filed. Good luck with the attorney! The trustee wanted all paystubs from me including the ones after I filed. I had to bring my latest ones to my 341 meeting. Probably to be sure my income didn't increase after filing.
          Filed 11/17/11 Chapter 13, 341 meeting 12/21/11. Plan confirmed 1/19/12 - DISCHARGED 12/16/15
