Well looks like my early payoff is almost official now. Court Hearing was today and it says motion to pay off early granted! Ch 13 Data center says case closed 11/7/11. I will review all my data after the trustee makes the last payments and let everyone know if I actually did payoff 100% of the claims. The documents my lawyer sent to the court said only 87%. Anyway I really just want to thank everyone here for all the great advice through the years. Knowing what I know now I would have done a couple things different but I can say I learned my lesson. It was a hard lesson to learn but when are lessons ever easy. Thanks Mom for the help what a tremendous weight off my back.

Ok this what it looks like to me on the trustee website,
I had 5 unsecured claims, one was $1400.24 it says principal paid 1218.21 and scheduled amount of $1100. Another claim was $6402.73 principal paid $5570.38 and scheduled amount of $8979. So it looks to me that they did pay only 87%. It shows me getting a refund of $1500 as well I had a couple secured claims they were paid in full after the first year. Not really sure how it all worked out but seems like it has so far. Let me know there are any questions. ThanksFiled September 15 2009

Wow. It's been a long time since this has all happened. Things are awesome now credit is rebuilt and I owe nothing on credit cards other than buying stuff and paying it off right away. From what I remember my lawyer said that she didn't think he would allow me to pay it off early but she did ask and the trustee was ok with the early payoff. It was paid off exactly to what the original agreement was not 100%. I'm not sure if at the time they were so busy with bankruptcies or what but they did allow it and I actually got a refund for overpayment. Not sure if that's the answer u were looking for.Filed September 15 2009

I am new to this board, What made you seek an early payoff and how do you qualify for that? I have one year to go with all of my secured debts paid in full including my car.. I thought I would be able to get my title since it is paid off , one of my other friends was able too, however my attorney said No, not until I am fully discharged.
