So if the means test says I have 500 left over. Is that the minimum I need to pay in a 13? My concern is the operating allowance. That won't cover gas/insurance/maint/regist. It would be significantly higher. So would the higher amount be used?

The allowed auto operation exemption is used for the Means Test. Your real auto operation expenses can be used within reason on the Schedules.
