    Total Stress Moment with Trustee

So I just talked with my attorney and there is so much going on. My Husband and I have split and he is now living in a different state. I had my attorney put in a motion to short sell the house (hubby not on the BK or I would have walked away) and the Trustee said he never got my last 2 years tax returns and my motion to sell the house brought that to his attention (I fax them in every year!) so he filed a motion to dismiss. I am refaxing them today, and thank goodness I had paid any amount over $250 in returns I got each year.

Well after calling my attorney and freaking out (have been trowing up while waiting to speak with him because of the stress) he ran the numbers again with my income and he is convinced I can convert to a 7!! Since I filed the 13 in 2008, he just has to use the same budget, just take out the additional income and expenses and I am negative monthly income!!

I know this should be exciting news, but between the stress of the divorce, the short sale, and the chapter 13, I am going nuts!! Stress is the best weight loss method...

I feel like I want to be excited about the possiblity of converting to a 7 and getting this whole thing behind me, but it seems too good to be true. Too many negative things have happened to me to think this will work...

Take a deep breath and maybe a glass of wine. Trust the attorney and anticipate "good news" for a change. (fingers crossed for you)!

Well, not to contribute to the 'delinquency of a Major', but I will 'third' the glass of wine.

I know it looks stressful now, and like a wagon-load of you know, this could be the best for you. Good luck to you and keep praying and hoping for the best. But prepare for the worst.

Your attorney is a good attorney. He found a way to ease the stress on you. I know you find it hard to believe good news right now, but hopefully soon you'll be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm not an attorney. My replies are merely suggestions or observations, not legal advice. As always, consult with an attorney before making any decisions.

Thank you everyone. Stomach too upset to enjoy the wine. I am having a hard time shutting my mind up. I feel like I am right back to the same stress of where I was in 2008 when I filed for my 13. This feeling is awful, but I know it will pass with time, it's just a matter of getting there..
