If you have thoughts/ideas about assets you might want to protect (i.e. stocks, cars, etc), talk to your attorney to see what he/she recommends. I had 2500 in stocks which I didnt want to pay for as an unexempt asset, so I cashed it out and bought a ton of food on my Atty's recommendation. We should have a good thanksgiving this year!
