So I started posting about my plan payment drama last night on a different thread
but I felt bad for hijacking mountanddo's thread (sorry!)
Long story short, Atty told me a to expect a pmt of 700-800 at the consultation.
We are filing next week, and paralegal emails me with an estimated pmt of 1500-1600. I've been nauseous for 2 days.
We're keeping a $400/mo car and 10K worth of non exempt property over a 5 year payment term. no arrearages or anything like that.
Turns out, she forgot to include about $500/mo of payroll deductions for my retirement contributions. After recognizing this error, the payment is down to $1000/month. WHEW!
Definately in the ballpark of what I was expecting. My blood pressure is slowly starting to drop to a normal level
