My bank that presently has my mortgage decided to waive a $900 fee after my attorney looked into it for me. It seems like banks will try anything these days.

Actually, it's usually not the banks themselves. It's the foreclosing attorney office that adds the fees. I had some fees disgorged because they had specified that the majority of the fee was for an objection to confirmation and a hearing, of which they didn't even do. So, they were unearned fees. Then, to make them feel the pain some more, I objected to their fees for having to answer my objection to claim!Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
