??Memphis PO Box/13DataCenter update "slow"???

Nope, not for me - nothing - nada - since 9/1 - and since then an employer check should have been there, and our "supplemental" check which I know got there because I sent it USPS 2 day with tracking.

I have a bad feeling about this...(neither did the check clear yet). Our check got there on 9/2...

My payments take about 10 days from mailing until they clear and post, and they only go one state away, so time in transit is only 1-2 days.

AND - the one that is my (spouse's) Trustee's data is show as effective Sept 1, 2011 - this is WITHOUT!!! signing in. In other words, his whole office's data stream is effective as of Sept 1, 2011, NOT JUST ME(us)!

Is that good news?? I think it is...in other words, the whole office is slow...(we've been having murder weather...) OR maybe their data person is out???

Sorry to re-open this but 13 data center still has not posted the last 2 payments sent to Memphis via payroll deduction! Either the processing center is dropping the ball or 13data center. Here it is the last day of the month and it appears my account is going to be overdue! I will call the Trustee's office today to see what is going on

I called about this yesterday. The trustee said they haven't received it yet. I'm worried about the same thing.

I don't mean to jump in here unwelcomely, but aren't y'all worrying about something beyond your control, that the trustee will take care of, and you will not end up being penalized for anything, as it was nothing you could control?

Not to freak anyone out, but I had my June payment stolen out of the mail and fraudulently cashed! It has been hell trying to get my money back too. Luckily, my trustee has been quite helpful about signing an affidavit and having it notarized that his office isn't the one that cashed it, so hopefully I'll get my money back, but I don't know where it was stolen from. It was sent from CA to Memphis. There could possibly be someone at that end that realizes that all these trustee payments are money orders coming thru and randomly taking them, I don't know.

I'm sending my payments priority mail w/delivery confirmation from now on though. And I don't know about anyone else, but I'm just supposed to make it out to my trustee's name so I'm thinking since it isn't a business name that a bank would recognize, it was easier for someone to forge and cash.

Sooo...all this to say that if your payment doesn't post within 2 weeks of being sent, I would have a trace put on the check to see if if was stolen and cashed.

I really wish there was a way for them to just do an automatic withdrawal from my account each month so we didn't have to deal with all this....

I auto pay thru an option that my bank offers. Have it set up where the payment is processed on the first and mailed to the trustee so that it is received no later than the 10th. My trustee usually posts on 13datacenter in a timely manner so I am able to check and see if the payment has been received. So far, I've had no issues and been using it for about six months. If there ever is an issue I can push back on the bank. Plus, my trustee has been very helpful in the past when payments got a little confused when I retired, so if any thing does go amiss they said they would notify me.

Mine is a payroll withdrawal, which gets mailed to Memphis. Tomorrow is another payday, but the one from two weeks ago still hasn't posted. There is enough to deal with in this thing, from raising payments, to trustee fee increases, and not being able to sell my house, without having to worry about what should be a simple payment posting process.
