    finally received chapter 13 overpayment refund.

    Our chapter 13 was over quick compared to alot of others due to lack of claims filed. Filed in Nov. 2010 and Discharged in June 2011. Trustee would not close because of surrendered house and thought it had been foreclosed on. I finally got the trustee u and our attorney to understand that the foreclosure process had to restart as of June 29th. Now after another month she issued us a refund check and we are officially closed and plan completed. We got our check of just under 4k on saturday the 3rd and the house was also reposted for auction for Sept 23rd.

    Thank you everyone for calming me down on my stress related rants.

      Great news, puggymoo! So glad to hear that everything is settled and your Ch 13 is OVER!!! You are discharged and with a nice little nest egg to boot....fantastic!

      01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
      09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
      06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
      08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !
      10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
      Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go
