    Finally jumped in

After consulting an attorney in late Nov 2010, we finally filed the 13 yesterday. Actually kind of relieved as I've been internalizing this since then. We came very close to doing a 7 but was just a tad over. Not sure how I feel about that. So right now we'll be paying 435 a mth for 5 years. Considering where our impossible situation was, I can live with that. Our BK situation came about due to a career ending major medical event that reduced our family income by 50% overnight....

Is there anyway in your situation with health and all, that you could squeek through on 7? Much easier, shorter, and cleaner for the new start. 'Hub

I wish there was. Health issues is what got us buried....after getting healthy (somewhat), we couldn't climb out. That being said, made about 400per month too much for this 6 month window which was only going to climb drastically if we filed in September. Nothing we could do and I can live with the 435 as I couldn't with the 1900 min monthly credit pymts.

Spouse had a brain tumor....i'm disabled
