    Notice on Pacer--Can anyone Explain--Chapter 13

There have been several postings on Pacer with this information:

"Notice of Transfer Assignment of Claim. Transfer Aggreement 3001 (e) 2 Transferer:
US Bank (Claim #1) to Portfolio Recovery Assoc. LLC. (Notice to Transforer/Transferee
of the filing of the Transfer to be mailed by BAC) Filed by Creditor PRA Receivables
Management LLC. (Portfolio Recovery Assoc, LLC) Entered 8/31/2011."

Is this just a transfer from the Bank who has our credit card to a Recovery Company
    who now has the claim???

    Thanks

That pretty much sums it up. Don't worry about it, it's just dancing among the creditors. It does not affect you.

Correct. The debt was either sold or assigned to Portfolio Recovery. No change to you, the trustee will just start sending payments to them instead of US Bank.
      Filed CH13 - 06/2009
      Confirmed - 01/2010

Yet those collection agencies try their damnedest to get us to pay THEM the full amount...
