Our confirmation hearing was today. We still had two unresolved trustee objections. 1)trustee didn't approve of a rent to own tv agreement that we had proposed to pay outside of the plan. (we have 3 payments out of 18 remaining). 2)Paralegal failed to budget for medical insurance when submitting amended plan. Has anyone else gone into the confirmation hearing with trustee objections and still been confirmed? This whole process is still confusing and stressful to me. I know it's just a huge waiting game, but any input is greatly appreciated.

Your attorney will file an amended plan to resolve the objections. Your confirmation hearing will be postponed until this occurs.
Just sounds like the medical insurance needs added and something done with the rent-to-own agreement. You probably just want to surrender the TV back, the money from the payments you have left would probably be enough to buy a replacement considering what a bad deal rent-to-own usually is and the fact is over a year old currently.Filed CH13 - 06/2009

I have 3 payments left (less than $200 total) on an 18 month contract, no way I'm surrendering it. I would like to just pay it off in full and be done with it, but don't know how that would affect my case. And yes, I understand something needs to be done with the objections, but these objections were filed two weeks ago and the atty didn't file another amended plan or ask for a continuance, so who knows. Just going to sit back and watch it unfold.
