Our 341 meeting was on 7/13. The trustee had two objections. My atty submitted a second amended plan on 7/22 (first amended plan was to add a creditor I had forgotten). I have been checking Pacer daily and so far no objections to this plan. Do you think we're good since it's been almost two weeks since we submitted the new plan? I sent an email yesterday to atty's office, with no reply as of yet and calling them tends to stress me out more than not knowing!

Often it helps to keep in mind that no matter how much you stress, it won't change whatever your trustee is going to do or not do. Trusting your lawyer to ensure your interests are protected when objections are filed is the best option in this tough situation.
From your description, your lawyer seems competent. Do your best to step back from the stress and realize that there isn't anything you personally can do beyond what you've already done through your lawyer to get confirmed. Then spend that extra energy making sure your family budget is well-designed and liveable. That you can control completely
Hang in there. Your case will be confirmed - sometimes it takes a while. In our case, clearing the objections and getting final confirmation took 15 months - your case is not likely to take nearly that long. Most objections are dealt with within a few months.
Until you are confirmed, you just keep making your payments on time every time. That's the only other thing besides your budget that you personally can control after filing. Now take a deep breath and do your best to not worry so much about those things that you can't control.I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

Checking PACER is a good way to get a few days' advance notice. However, knowing earlier really doesn't change how you and your lawyer will handle the objection. It also won't speed the process up. Your lawyer will be notified quickly by the trustee's office if any objections are filed, and you'll know shortly after that.
The bk court moves along at its own quite glacial pace - think in terms of weeks and months rather than days - this isn't TV or the movies . Nothing ever seems to move as fast as you expect it or want it to. Tie on your patience hat and accept that if your trustee is going to file an objection, you'll be notified by the court and by your lawyer in a timely fashion, and you still will have plenty of time to talk things over with your lawyer and decide how to best respond to the objection.Last edited by lrprn; 08-06-2011, 10:22 PM.I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
