    Hang in there!

Haven't posted in a long time. We should have been done with our 13 this month, but due to job loss and unforseen circumstances beyond our control, we had to have our plan modified a couple of times so, we have 8 months left to go. Although I would prefer to be done with this now, I am super excited as the end is finally in sight and things seem to be going okay. The trustee forgave our plan arrears three different times - yes three - and all of our unsecured debt is now wiped out. We are at 0% to our unsecured creditors. At this point we are only paying our house payment, second and very little arrears. Although it was difficult to get in touch with our attorney, she knew what she was doing and knew what the trustee would allow and/or not allow. She did a great job fighting for us. We suffered through my husband's 18 month job loss, new tires for the truck and car, etc. Husband got his job back and has been steadily employed for a year now so I am no longer the sole bread winner. We have not been able to save a dime during all of this, but we have managed to scrape by. Things are definitely looking up! Hang in there everybody, it can be done.

Thanks lrprn! Our circumstances were tough for us, but paled in comparison to others who have posted. I'm just grateful we managed to make it and wanted everyone to know there is hope and it can be done. In fact, you are a testament to that. Thanks for all your valuable info over the last few years.
