Just got a call from our lawyer. She figured up our income and it is 3000 over the median for our state. We passed the means test though. She didn't tell us this, but I think that this may push us into a 13! What happends with cars that are reposessed during a BK. I know how it works in a 7, but not a 13. Thanks!

Do you want to keep the car? What is the car worth? How much do you owe? How far behind are you on your payments? Answer these questions and maybe someone will be able to advise you.Filed..................03/31/06

If you passed the Means Test you can file Ch 7. But if you want to keep the cars and file Ch 7, you have to be current on your payments.
If you are in arrears on car loans or your mortgage and you want to keep the cars and/or house, you'll have to go Ch 13.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
