Leaving the USA.....Chap 13 Plan payment

I'm leaving the USA for work outside the country.

I DO NOT want automatic payments from my new company that is not in the USA. Will I be able to set up an ACH with a US bank? My plan is to leave some money to cover 2-3 months of payments and refill the account as I go.

    Has anyone done this before?

My plan is 100% payback and my payment is $855 a month.

If you deposit sufficient cash in a US bank account that allows you to set up automatic bill pay from that account *and* your trustee allows this form of payment, then you should be good to go.

Do let your lawyer know that you will be out of the country and how to contact you if that proves necessary while you are gone (although if your plan is already confirmed, that is not very likely). Better to be safe than sorry since you won't be able to read your snail mail for awhile.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
