Awaiting closing, awaiting confirmation hearing

Hi,

I paid my last chapter 13 payment a few months ago. I did receive documentation from my trustee that all payments have been completed. However, for quite a while, the Pacer has showed my status as

Pending status: Awaiting Closing ,Awaiting Confirmation Hearing
Flags: CONFIRMED

I'm not sure what this means

The "confirmation" flag is from way back when you were confirmed. Nothing new has been added yet, and that's pretty normal. It takes about 3 to 5 months in my district to discharge & close the plan after payments have ended. I don't know what it is like in your state, but it is probably very similar. (They take a while!) Have you called your attorney to ask about it?

yeah I tried, but he was like... i dont know, I'm guessing soon

Can I call the Trustee?

There is normally a case auditor that works for the trustee. Go to your trustees website (if they have one) and there may be a list of "who does what.." If your attorney isn't giving you a time frame that he/she normally sees for this type of thing, you can call the case auditor and ask about it. Note: They can answer procedural questions, not legal questions, so you should be ok by simply asking for a time frame.
