I have a local CA reporting an account that I included in my chapter 13. They started reporting the month after I filed. How is the best way to handle this. Also have 2 OC's reporting a balance and past due. I was just checking my fico score. I only checked one because of the cost. Also I was just wondering what it might be. Not too good, 488. But we are only in month 6 of a 36 month plan so it dosen't mean that much right now. Another thing my mortage co shows 'wage earner plan' . They are not included in our plan as we are paying them outside of the plan. We have never been late on our mortgage. Both vehicles we are paying outside of the plan are reporting 'payed as agreed'.

I'm sorry to say that this is a huge problem for people in Ch13. There are many resources here on the site to write letters to the credit bureaus. Check those out.
In general you will need to dispute the information one account at a time. You can contact Equifax, Experian and Transunion and ask for a copy of your credit report and for information as to how to dispute errors on your report. I wrote an article that you can find on the web entitled..."So You Thought You Wouldn't Have To Deal With Creditors After Bankruptcy...WRONG!"

Goto the "Rebuilding Credit" link in the "After Discharge" section of the forum. There are great resources there, check them out. Secondly, read my article. Finally, decide if you want to hire a company to do this for you. If you do, expect to pay between $500-$2500 for the service. I can refer you to two different credit repair companies if you decide to do this.
