Need some Auto Financing Companies while in Chapter 13

My car was totaled. The settlement from my insurance was almost exactly the amount owed through our bankruptcy. I HAVE to get another car. I don't live in a highly populated area with public transportation. I live 25 miles from my job and have no option of commuting.
I spoke with our trustee and they are waiting for me to find financing so they can approve us incurring more debt.
THAT's the problem. I can't seem to find any. I have applied a few places and nothing. I have searched the internet. When I find something, it is one of those sights that require sign up for credit monitoring before you can complete the application. I have tried Toyota (where I have financed 3 cars) and was denied.
I need to know what reputable companies other people have used? Specific companies not general.
My credit score is mid 600's and I am over 3 years into our 5 years.
Please help. This is not a want, but a need. I have to be able to get to work.

Since you've been making on-time payments to your trustee for three years, you have a better chance to find financing for a vehicle loan while you are in Chapter 13 than someone closer to filing. Here are a few options to try.

    - Contact your lawyer and ask for recommendations for area bk-friendly dealerships or car lots. This is not an unusual problem and chances are they have other filers in the same boat you are in and will share what worked for those filers.

    - Do your research and find a reasonable and reliable car that can be bought for the insurance money you've received and doesn't require financing.

    - Speak to your own bank or credit union about getting an auto loan.

    - Visit smaller 'mom and pop' car lots. Some of our members have had better luck getting more reasonable financing from these smaller lots.

    - Some members have had good luck trying Road Loans and other online car lenders.

    - Look for non-conventional loans outside the usual bank, credit union, or dealership.

    - Find a co-signer who is willing to go in on the loan with you or ask family members to loan you the extra cash to purchase a reasonable car (this should be your very last resort).

Hope these give you some new ideas to try. Good luck!
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

Thanks I have tried several of those options. I will look into the others. Unfortunately, there was no money left over from the insurance company. The amount they paid was almost exactly equal to the amount owed through the bankruptcy. (withing $100). Just my luck.
