Well I guess Sallie Mae finally processed the Ch 13 notice - website access is disabled...that I take it is normal, right?

Which I still don't quite "get" as the loan will CLEARLY survive BK and is not dischargable - so if I can/want to send them $$, outside of the plan, why make it harder??

ANd, does Sallie Mae show up at 341's? They're the biggest creditor we have - and we almost defaulted until they approved a low income deferment EIGHT months after the fact and after losing info month after month after month.

Yes, it is normal for Sallie Mae to disable your web access.

I know what you mean by "making it harder" by taking this access away. We had to report our Sallie Mae debt when we filed Ch 13, but we are paying them outside of our plan as our loan payments to them are fairly low and extend past our 36 month Ch plan. But, the way I look at it, I write them a check every month and that cancelled check is proof that I've been paying them!

Sallie Mae didn't show up at our 341. In fact, none of our creditors showed up.

THANKS!!!!!! I'm trying to believe me...once our CH 13 gets settled (God willing) and a few months or more pass, I'll send them what I can when I can. We owe them an ungodly sum...well, it's not dischargable so no worries for them!

i believe i have read on this forum that banks and creditors take away access after the bankruptcy is filed because if it were there it might appear as if they were violating the automatic stay or something like that. i may not have it exactly right.
