capital one car loan

Spouse just filed Ch 13 - I've read on this forum that Capital One transfers their car loan servicing to an outfit in TX (I have their details somewhere) first post petition payment isn't due until May 8th - should I send it to the new outfit, or just send it to Cap One?????

Weird - seeing nothing on the internet - I suppose it was easier in the old days when there was less info and more paper :-)

Email or call to ask your lawyer if you can call CapOne and find out where your car loan payment needs to be sent. (Filers shouldn't contact a creditor directly after filing without asking their lawyer if it's ok first.)

Thanks! first post petition payment isn't due till May 8th, so I won't bother lawyer yet...ACtually car is just 500 or so behind...and that's just late fees...
