    Chapter 13 and Credit Card

    Just filed for chapter 13--341 meeting in a few weeks. I need to travel from Fl
    to MA by car and need to stay overnight in a hotel. I don't have any credit cards.
    Can I be added to my brother's credit card so that I can travel???
    Can anyone help with an answer

    Why doesnt your brother just pay for the hotel for you? You should not be put on any credit cards as an authorized user or otherwise.

      Hotels take debit cards. If you are using your own car to travel you won't have the need for a credit card. I agree with Pandora: Don't be added to someone elses cred card during your Chapter 13.

        the short answer is yes you can be added as an authorized signer on someone else's CC.
        Hotels take a deposit per night for damages and it will take a week or so to get money back...
