House $309K under water... file / foreclosure/both?

GWB - I thought the same thing when I saw the OP's budget. Now, as a working woman I took pride in my career and nowadays one does not want to lose skills, have lengthy gaps in employment, etc. But...if the OP's wife stopped working, would that put their income below the median? (Not sure if he's posted how many kids they have)
