    Credit Scores---Is this norma?

I've found out I'm going to have to my from my apartment because the community has been condemned. So I've been searching around for a new place. This morning I checked my credit scores, and they were as follows:

    Experian: 647
    Trans Union: 566
    Equifax: 600

I did notice Trans Union seems to list everything negatively. Shouldn't these items be listed as in bankruptcy?

I'm afraid I only have 30 days (from today) to find a new place, and I'd like to find somewhere halfway decent. Unlike where I live now.

BTW, I am in an active 3 year Chapter 13, but the 3 years will end in October.

I think your bigger hurdle is going to be the fact that your bankruptcy is not yet discharged. As soon as most places see that on your credit report, the score isn't going to matter much. So I would suggest you call ahead and ask if they accept applicants in active CH13's. You may have to offer to pay a bigger security deposit, but with that and assuming you have a good rental history with your current place, it shouldn't be too difficult to find someone willing to rent to you. Just be honest up front and don't wait for them to run the credit check.

Oh trust me, I've already been upfront with each place about the bk.

Alot more places are likely to rent, active BK or not, however security deposit might be higher.
