    One Year done!

Hi all! I just mailed payment number 12 and have 24 left to go and it will be over. I have to admit the first year went fast and had numerous bumps in the road but I hung in there and I am determined to finish this thing. I hope year number 2 goes just as fast as the first year did. I will be glad when this whole thing is behind me.

I have learned to live on cash only and I find that I am enjoying it. If I need to buy something it is nice to know it is paid for right then and there. Plus I love not getting any bills in the mail.

To those just starting their 13 good luck and it is not as difficult as some make it out to be on these forums. Well at least mine is not. I finally got my hours back at work that I had lost 2 months ago and that was hard to deal with. But I guess the boss got tired of my begging for more hours and finally gave in. Now things are so much easier again. I have even been able to put a little money aside every month. It is not much but every little bit helps right?

Congratulations! I'm am a newbie to this forum. I just finished paying my fees to my attorny and gathering all the info they need to get me filed by the end of the month. We may be going on a 5 year plan. I'm affraid that I will be left with no money once I pay the trustee. We've been living off cash for the past two years and are use to it.

How is it do you have cash at the end of the month like for an outting?

    Thanks and once again congrats!

If I spend a little less for groceries than I had planned I put that extra money aside. If I have a coupon say for 3.00 off a haircut I will put that 3.00 aside also. Just little things where I can save money on something I will put it away for something else. I also had a friend do my taxes for free this year and last year I paid a company 260.00 to have it done. Well guess what I had that 260.00 in my budget and now I can save it for an emergency. Every little bit helps.

EIAbad good luck on your 13 you are just getting started on. I wish you the best of luck with it.

Congratulations. I'm only 4 months in, and am getting used to questioning every little purchase, whether I need it or not. Chances are not:-) Thanks Angel, it's nice to see something positive that these 13's can be doable.

Congrats! We are also 12 months in and found that the year flew by. We were able to live comfortably and save money too. It's really not the horror that the ch.7 board makes it out to be. I hope your next 2 years fly by just as quickly.
