    Thinking of filing Chapter 13

I had my bank account levied today. I just started working again after 27 months without a job. The credit card company must have found out I was working again. I was trying to save up enought to offer them at least half of what I owe but they beat me too it. I think that wage garnishment is next so. I have a couple of questions. I have medical insurance but no prescription coverage. I am on insulin and it costs up to $500 per month. I am also on many other drugs to the tune of about $900 total per month. I am thinking that this will cause questions when they approve my monthly budget. Do I have to turn in receipts each month to prove I am on these? How do you handle increases in medical expenses? I have to have surgery and wonder how they budget this?

#1, I'd wait until after the surgery to file and then include it in your bk.

#2, you won't have to provide receipts every month during your plan, but you will have to provide past receipts to prove the ongoing medical expenses when you file (or rather when the trustee questions the expense on your schedules).
