YEAH!!!!

We recieved notice that our plan is accepted as is, and that no modifications will need to be made to our budget/plan. With the help of this forum, we had a much less stressful experience than we could have and learned how to develop and fight for a very strong budget. Without this knowledge, particularily in relation to the budgeting issues, I know we would have not faired so well.

I SO agree. Without the advice of folks who had done this before, I am almost positive our budget would not be as strong as it is now. I think we would have been overwhelmed, and uncomfortable putting real expenses down, and wouldn't have fought so hard for what we truly needed. I spent months researching others budgets online and posts that explained what you could and could not budget for-all of that helped to produce a workable plan. Don't get me wrong. We are far from rich, lol, but at least I feel like we have a little breathing room.

Hi, could you post the expenses they allowed? Just the items, not the amounts if you don't feel comfortable with that. I know every case is different, just trying to get a feel for what is allowed.

Jeep, even if everyone of us in a 13 posted our expenses, it doesn't mean that you can have the same allowed expenses or the allowed amounts. These vary widely across the country depending on your trustee's customs and local court and district prior rulings. You need to check with your own lawyer to get a sense of what will fly and what won't with your trustee.
