Proof of Claim on surrendered house.

We surrendered house in Dec. Plan confirmed Jan.14th and house foreclosed Jan. 25th.
Metlife filed a secured claim on the 26th. I am wondering if the still need to file a unsecured Proof of Claim for any deficiency amount. On our pacer it does NOT show they filed a claim since we surrendered the secured property. Has anyone had experience with this happening to them. Trustee is up to date with everything.

The nice thing about filing bk is that you don't have to worry about what your creditors, including MetLife, decide to do or not do. Unless you are in a 100% payback case, it doesn't matter to you. Sit tight - you'll find out soon enough what MetLife is going to do once 120 days go by (or 180 days for the gov't)
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
