mortgage company filed proof of claim for $0 Can they change the amount?
Our house went to auction on Tuesday. I check our pacer every day to see who has filed a claim. Friday Jan. 28th it said Metlife had filed a proof of claim for $0. Does this mean they aren't coming after us for the deficiency amount? I don't think it sold at auction. Has anyone had this happen and can they change the amount if the house sells?

I don't know why they would file a claim for $0. Did you actually view the filed document to make sure the amount in Pacer is not an error?LadyInTheRed is in the black!

Yes I double checked and it says $0 for for everything but the original amount we had put in which is on the right hand side.Comment
