New claim showing up from same company?
We are paying our car payment in the BK. We never missed a payment before filing, and checking the 13datacenter, the trustee has been sending them payments. We checked the data center just now and Chase bank, where we have our car loan from and is already listed, has filed another claim for $990. I have no clue what that would be for. In the comment box it says "split". Can they file a second claim like that when they are already getting money for the car payment?

Are you sure they actually filed another claim? Or is it possible that part of the debt was unsecured and the trustee split it into two claims in their system (unsecured and secured)?LadyInTheRed is in the black!

It does say unsecured so I think you are right. Don't know what he is splitting but that is a relief that it is not some extra claim out of nowhere showing up .Thanks!Comment
