Parent wants to put me on checking account

My elderly father wants to put me onto his checking account so that I can assist him paying bills in case he becomes ill. I am over 2 years into a 5 year Chapter 13. Is this allowable?

I see no problem with this. The money is not your money. The money is being used to pay his bills.

We have the exact same issue. My mother-in-law wants to put my wife on her checking account. I asked my attorney if that would be okay and he said it would not be a problem.
