Tomorrow we send our final payment to the trustee done at last!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ron, first a hardy congrats on your completed case.. so congrats to you.. second, when we paid our car loan off which was one of the very first debt paid in full we asked the attorney what to do if the car loan was paid for and he said to just go down to the credit union that had the loan and ask for the title. We did that and we could then drop the full coverage early in our plan saving a little more money monthly. Of couse I can only tell you what we did and even being in our chapter 13 for three years we can only convey what has happened in our case. We are also within our count down to discharge, by may we should be completed, thank goodness. So huge congrats and love hearing discharge stories.

Thanks and our car loan is different it is threw americredit in another state and our attorney said we have to wait till we get the discharge to get the title. Good luck if your so close to done it will be here sooner than you think.

Thanks if we can make it this long anyone can, at first it seems eternal and as you get used to the way you have to live during the plan things go better and when you get close to ending it they get exciting and now sending that last payment was a rush. I can only imaging how it is going to feel when we get the real discharge paper and title to the car clear.

Congrats!! We are filing in the next 30 days, I will get back to you after my 60 payments are over and give you an update, LOL. I have to keep my sense of humor it's one of my most valuable assets at this moment.

we actually sent the last payment off at 4pm today so it is done and over with thank god, hang in there its a little bit of a long journey but it comes to an end eventually and when you do it is well worth it.
