Ron, you would file it with the clerk of the bankruptcy court in your district. You should be able to find that information on the first Notice of Bankruptcy that you received after filing. At the bottom of that notice you should see "Address of the Bankruptcy Clerk's Office". You can go here http://www.azb.uscourts.gov/Default.aspx?PID=5 to find addresses and numbers for the different court locations in your state.

eta: Sorry LiR, we were posting that at the same time ;)
Filed pro se, made it through the 341, discharged, Closed!!!

ron....we had done ours electronically........a copy was sent directly to us, the court and our atty....i'm thinking you should be able to scan it into your computer and send it right to the trustee's office.

now, i don't know every district, we had an atty, had a 7 not 13...and the trustee's office email us numerous times prior to our 341 with questions etc...so, if i were in your position under the relationship we had with the trustee's office, i would have no problem faxing, emailing or sending it.

but the BEST way of course is to bring down in person to the court just to assure that rec'd it.

I sent my financial management course completion and Form B23 60 days after confirmation which was over 48 months prior to discharge. Lucky for me, I converted to Chapter 7 about 7 months after that and the certificate was just fine.

As noted, the code only reads that it has to be filed BEFORE the discharge is entered. However, some Districts have "local" rules requiring Chapter 13 debtors to file at specific times. My District required Chapter 13 debtors to complete the course within 60 days of confirmation! My District Trustee's also give FREE financial management classes right after the 341 Meeting! Gotta love Florida!
        Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

I had to complete the first course within 30 days of filing before conformation of the 13 and this one has to be done before the last payment is sent and i have it done just need to get it to them since my attorney is being a jerk about it not the attorney actually his paralegal and that is who we have to deal with all the time never can we get in touch with the attorney by email or calls. He always has her handle everything after the court in the beginning.
          thanks all
