I am 40 months into a 60 month 13. On my last statement it says the following:
"Currently 9% of disbursements is to be paid to the Trustee. A total of $1416 has been paid to the Trustee. Funds on hand to be disbursed to creditors are $500.00. your unsecured creditors are to be paid a minimum of 1% of their claims. Also, your plan obligates you to pay a minimum amount called a BASE. This base amount is $30,000.00. The balance on your base is $10,000.00. The is the approximate amount necessary to pay of your case."
Total unsecured is around $75k. 1% is 7500, so the Base is greater at 10,000. So is the payoff 10,000 or 75,000? My attorney moved from SC to TX 6 months after I filed and I haven't heard from them since. Just curious. I don't have to get out now, but I would if I could. Thanks for your time.
